In each edition of the DAK Index, we like to highlight former DAK placements that have gone on to make meaningful contributions to their respective organizations. In this edition, we would like to shine the spotlight on Gordon Linke of Pimco. A former Goldman Sachs and Barclays iShares alumn, Gordon is a 25+ year Financial Services veteran who has spent the last 12 years in both managerial and individual contributor roles within the Institutional Sales realm spanning both the Institutional Liquidity and Insurance/DCIO realms. Gordon joined Pimco in the fall of 2008 as a senior member of their Institutional Sub-advisory team where he continues to serve today. Interestingly, given his knowledge of ETF’s after spending 8 years with Barclays, Gordon also had an instrumental role in helping Pimco to launch their highly anticipated ETF strategies in 2009. A lot of individuals and companies talk about being a team player nowadays and looking out for the greater good of the company; Gordon truly embodies the meaning of teamwork, making contributions to his organization above and beyond the stated responsibilities of his role.
